This well-established Scottish law firm is recruiting a Family Law Solicitor to join its growing team in Ayrshire.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a respected family law practice, managing a varied caseload while working closely with experienced colleagues in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, child contact and residence disputes, cohabitation claims, financial provision and guardianship matters
  • Representing clients in Sheriff Court and, where appropriate, the Court of Session
  • Providing clear, practical and empathetic advice while maintaining high standards of client care
  • Contributing to business development, networking and the continued growth of the Family Law department

Applicants should be Scottish qualified solicitors from newly qualified level upwards, with experience or a strong interest in family law. Strong advocacy, negotiation and communication skills are essential, together with the ability to build trusted client relationships. Experience of both Legal Aid and private client work would be advantageous.
