Our client, a well-established Scottish law firm, is currently recruiting for an experienced Family Law Solicitor to join its team in Dundee.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a respected practice advising clients on a broad range of family law matters, within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

This position is suited to a solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE, up to Senior Associate level, who is confident managing complex matters independently. The successful candidate will advise on all aspects of family law including divorce, financial provision on divorce, separation, cohabitation claims, child law (both domestic and international), adoption, and pre-nuptial agreements. You will manage a diverse caseload, represent clients in court, and deliver sensitive and pragmatic advice tailored to each individual situation. Key responsibilities include legal drafting, court appearances, case management, and client advocacy.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of family law, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to handle emotionally sensitive cases with professionalism and empathy. A proactive, client-focused approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service are essential.
