If you're an NQ–2 PQE Employment Solicitor looking for a role that combines high-quality work, genuine career development, and a culture that puts its people first, this opportunity is well worth exploring.
QED Legal's client is looking to add an Employment Solicitor to its growing Glasgow team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into an established caseload, taking over work from a senior lawyer who is transitioning into another area of the business. As a result, you'll inherit a varied and engaging workload from day one, with the quality of the work speaking for itself.
The role will see you advising on a broad range of employment law matters, with a particular focus on respondent-side and contentious work. You will be involved in handling issues such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE, whistleblowing, and a variety of workplace disputes, while also providing strategic and day-to-day employment law advice to clients. Tribunal experience would be advantageous, but the key requirement is a solid grounding in employment law and the ambition to continue developing your expertise.
What makes this opportunity stand out is the business itself. Having enjoyed significant success and earned numerous industry accolades in recent years, the organisation continues to grow while maintaining a strong focus on its people. Training and development are taken seriously, and employee wellbeing sits at the heart of the culture. This is a business that understands that investing in its people is critical to its continued success.
Having placed lawyers with this client on numerous occasions over the years, we can genuinely speak to the positive working environment, approachable leadership team, and exceptional staff retention levels. Opportunities with employers of this calibre do not come along every day.
A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package are on offer, including generous holiday entitlement, pension contributions, life assurance, and a range of additional benefits designed to support both your professional and personal wellbeing.
