Oculus Legal Group is delighted to be partnering with a highly respected Scottish law firm as they look to appoint an Employment Senior Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join their growing team in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. Our client is renowned for providing clear, strategic legal advice built on experience and genuine client partnerships.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and well-established employment practice, advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters. The team supports a diverse client base, including SMEs, larger corporates and public sector organisations, offering high-quality, pragmatic advice. Key Responsibilities

• Advise on a wide range of employment matters, including disciplinary and grievance issues, redundancies, TUPE and employment tribunals
• Support clients with both contentious and non-contentious work
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies and settlement agreements
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Work closely with colleagues across other practice areas to provide a full-service offering
• Contribute to business development initiatives and client engagement

About You

• Scottish qualified Employment Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE
• Strong technical grounding across employment law matters
• Commercial and pragmatic approach to advising clients
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Keen to develop within a collaborative and well-regarded team
• Motivated to build a long-term career within a growing practice
