Job Description

This global law firm is recruiting an Employment Lawyer to join its specialist Employment team on a fully remote basis across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer to work closely with a small number of major clients, handling high-volume Employment Tribunal matters while operating as a seamless extension of in-house legal teams. The role offers the chance to undertake high-quality contentious work within an innovative, technology-enabled delivery model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a busy caseload of Employment Tribunal claims, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, and other employment-related disputes.
  • Delivering clear, practical, and commercially focused employment law advice to clients.
  • Building strong relationships with key clients and developing a thorough understanding of their businesses and objectives.
  • Taking ownership of matters from inception through to resolution, ensuring excellent client service throughout.
  • Working collaboratively within a specialist team while contributing to continuous improvement and efficient service delivery.

Applicants should have 5+ years' PQE, although candidates with relevant experience at other levels will also be considered. Strong employment law and Employment Tribunal experience is essential, together with excellent drafting, communication, and organisational skills. Candidates should be comfortable managing a high-volume caseload, working to tight deadlines, and providing pragmatic, business-focused advice. Experience of volume litigation and supervising junior lawyers would be advantageous.

You will be joining a highly regarded and supportive team that combines legal expertise with innovative ways of working. The role offers high-quality work, close client relationships, genuine responsibility, flexible working arrangements, and the opportunity to be part of a modern and collaborative practice delivering employment law services in a different way.
