Job Description

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Employment Law Paralegal to join a widely respected Employment Team  where you will work on a mix of both contentious and non contentious matters working with a vast and interesting client base. 

To give you a flavour of the variety of work, you could be assisting Solicitors with employment law tribunals or working on non contentious matters such as preparing employment contracts or updating handbooks. The scope of work really is vast and as such you'll never feel bored. The team are super supportive and they want to involve you as much as they can.

This isn’t a behind-the-scenes role—you’ll be chatting with clients right from the start, helping with onboarding, doing AML checks, and building great relationships along the way. You’ll also get to write for the employment law blog and pitch in with marketing projects.

You will be passionate about employment law and have a good understanding of the Tribunal process, ideally be a qualified Paralegal or be willing to work towards qualification, have previous experience of working as part of an employment law team, be highly organised and have the ability to prioritise your work. Strong drafting skills and the desire and ambition to develop your career and skills are essential. 

This role shall be based in Glasgow and offers hybrid working, 2 says from home. You'll also work from the Edinburgh office from time to time which gives you exposure to the whole team and client base.
