This leading Scottish law firm is recruiting an Employment Associate to join its highly regarded Employment team in Aberdeen.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to advise a diverse client base on a broad range of employment law matters, working within a top-ranked practice known for its high-quality work and collaborative approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, including employee relations and workplace disputes
  • Managing Employment Tribunal litigation, including drafting ET3 responses, witness statements and preparing for hearings
  • Providing employment support on corporate and commercial transactions, as well as drafting and reviewing contracts, policies and procedures
  • Delivering client training, supporting business development initiatives, and supervising junior team members where appropriate

Applicants should be qualified solicitors with at least 4 years' PQE and experience advising on employment law matters within a commercial environment. Candidates should have strong technical and communication skills, experience handling tribunal litigation, and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
