This well-established Scottish law firm is recruiting an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Strategic Risk, Government & Compliance team in Edinburgh.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-profile regulatory and investigations work across both commercial and public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Advising on regulatory, compliance and corporate crime matters, including financial crime, environmental and health & safety issues
Leading and managing investigations, public inquiries, judicial reviews and statutory appeals
Drafting complex legal advice, pleadings and strategic submissions
Representing clients in courts, tribunals and dealing with regulators and authorities
Managing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
Supervising junior lawyers and supporting the growth of the wider team

Applicants should have 5+ years’ PQE with strong experience in dispute resolution, regulatory work, or investigations. A genuine interest in areas such as corporate crime, compliance, public law or risk advisory is essential. Candidates should be confident managing complex matters, commercially aware, and comfortable taking on a visible role within a growing practice.
