Beaumont Legal Recruitment has been instructed by a well-established, highly regarded full-service Scottish law firm seeking to appoint an accomplished Corporate Lawyer to join its expanding Corporate practice based in the firms Glasgow/Edinburgh office.
This appointment is aimed at a senior solicitor with a minimum of 6 years post-qualification experience, with particular interest in those operating at 8+ PQE level, who are looking to take ownership of their practice and play a meaningful role in the continued development of a growing corporate offering throughout the Central Belt.
The Role
You will advise clients across a wide range of corporate transactions and advisory matters, including:
Mergers and acquisitions
Corporate reorganisations
Shareholder arrangements and governance issues
Investments and strategic partnerships
General company law advice
Candidates with broad corporate exposure are welcomed, though those bringing a defined area of expertise within corporate law will also be considered.
About You
You will be comfortable leading matters with minimal supervision, maintaining direct client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice.
A proactive approach to business development and market engagement will be important, as this role offers genuine scope to contribute to the growth and direction of the practice.
An established client base would be advantageous; however, the firm is equally interested in individuals with the drive, credibility and ambition to build and expand their network over time.
