Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload of contentious private client and civil litigation matters, progressing cases efficiently and proactively
• Advising clients on a range of complex disputes relating to estates, succession, trusts, executries, and other private client matters
• Conducting litigation and representing clients in court proceedings where required
• Liaising with clients, counsel, solicitors, and other professional advisers while delivering clear, practical, and commercially focused advice
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the firm's contentious private client offering and identifying opportunities for new business

Applicants should have up to 10 years' PQE and experience in civil litigation, ideally including contentious private client work. Candidates should possess a strong working knowledge of Scottish law, be confident handling court actions and appearances, and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate will be capable of managing their own caseload with minimal supervision while maintaining exceptional standards of client care and professionalism.
