You will join the firm’s Construction & Engineering team, handling a varied caseload of contentious construction matters. The role offers responsibility appropriate to experience, with supervision and support from senior solicitors and partners, and clear scope for development.

Key Responsibilities
> Manage a caseload of contentious construction matters from inception to resolution
> Advise clients on construction disputes, contractual claims, and related commercial issues
> Draft pleadings, correspondence, and legal documentation for court, adjudication, and tribunal proceedings
> Negotiate settlements and represent clients effectively in complex disputes
> Liaise with clients, counsel, engineers, and other stakeholders
> Ensure compliance with procedural rules, timescales, and case management standards
About You
> Qualified Solicitor in Scotland (NQ–Senior Associate level considered)
> Experience in contentious construction or construction-related litigation
> Strong technical, organisational, and negotiation skills
> Confident client-facing manner with a focus on service and outcomes
> Ability to manage workload independently while contributing to a team
