This well-established in-house organisation is recruiting a Consumer Product Lawyer to join its legal team in Glasgow.

Job Description

This is a role supporting regulated lending products, including mortgages and retail buy-to-let, within a high-performing legal function.

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across the business, advising on consumer product regulation, legal risk, and compliance. You’ll be involved in product development and simplification projects, regulatory change, and risk management, with a focus on delivering practical and commercially focused legal advice.

Applicants should be UK-qualified with NQ-3 years’ PQE and ideally have gained experience in consumer regulatory law. Prior exposure to retail lending or mortgage matters is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work across teams are essential.

This is a junior level role and candidates with experience in banking, financial services and commercial contracts will be considered, if they have a genuine interest in working in this area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level lawyer seeking high-quality in-house work within a collaborative legal environment.

If this position may be of interest, please contact Teddie or Cameron for a confidential initial discussion. (Assignment 17665)
