Construction Professional Indemnity – Edinburgh/Glasgow

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of construction-related disputes, advising insurers and construction professionals on complex and technically challenging claims across the Scottish market.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Managing a varied caseload of construction-related professional indemnity claims involving architects, engineers, surveyors, contractors and other construction professionals
+ Advising insurers and clients on liability, indemnity and policy coverage issues arising from construction and engineering projects
+ Handling matters through pre-action, litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes, including drafting pleadings and managing evidence
+ Building strong client relationships while supporting business development initiatives and the continued growth of the practice

Applicants should be qualified solicitors with experience in construction disputes, professional indemnity, insurance litigation or commercial litigation. Candidates should possess strong drafting and analytical skills, be confident managing matters with an appropriate level of autonomy, and demonstrate a commercial and client-focused approach. Experience of advising construction professionals or insurers would be advantageous.
