This well-established Scottish law firm is recruiting a Solicitor to join its Construction & Engineering team in Edinburgh.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a respected non-contentious construction practice, advising on a range of high-quality construction and infrastructure projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting and negotiating construction and engineering contracts, including SBCC, JCT and NEC documentation
Advising developers, contractors, investors and professional consultants on project-related matters
Preparing professional appointments, collateral warranties and associated construction documents
Supporting projects from inception through to completion, providing commercially focused advice
Working closely with colleagues and clients to deliver practical and effective legal solutions

Applicants should be qualified solicitors from newly qualified level up to 2 years’ PQE, ideally with a construction seat during traineeship or experience in non-contentious construction law. Candidates should have strong drafting and communication skills, commercial awareness, and a genuine interest in construction and engineering work.
