Job Description

We are delighted to be supporting a prominent Scottish law firm with the appointment of an NQ Commercial Property Solicitor to join its established Edinburgh team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified Solicitor who has developed a solid grounding in Commercial Property during their traineeship and is looking for the opportunity to take that experience into their first post-qualification role. You’ll work closely with an experienced senior member of the team, taking responsibility for your own day-to-day matters while continuing to develop your technical expertise and client relationships. For an NQ who wants genuine exposure to Commercial Property work and the opportunity to build a strong foundation for their career, this is well worth exploring.

The Role

You’ll join a small but established Commercial Property team, working closely with senior colleagues to undertake: 

• Commercial acquisitions and disposals
• Leasing and landlord and tenant matters
• Property investment and development
• Commercial property finance
• Property due diligence
• Drafting and negotiating commercial property documentation
• Advising clients throughout the transaction process

About You

We are keen to speak with Scottish Qualified Solicitors at NQ level who have completed a traineeship with 6-12 months Commercial Property experience gained during your traineeship. Candidates from a rural or agricultural property background with some experience of Commercial Property experience would also be of great interest to our client.
