Our client is recruiting for a lawyer to join their highly acclaimed Dispute Resolution team, they are one of the largest litigation teams in the country, and are routinely instructed in some of the highest-profile cases in the Scottish Courts. 
 
The firm deals with a broad range of commercial and other civil disputes for a mix of private and public sector clients, including high value and complex litigated cases in the Court of Session and Sheriff Court. they also regularly represent clients in appeals to the Supreme Court.
 
The role can be hybrid, with the office base in Inverness or Elgin.
 
The role will be varied, challenging and will involve advising clients on contentious matters across the full range of specialisms practiced by the team, including property litigation; contentious private client matters; contract disputes; debt recovery, professional negligence, contentious construction and engineering projects and IP disputes.
 
The role will include providing advice to public sector clients, as well as those in the private sector.
 
Ideally the successful applicant will be NQ – 2 years PQE but they are open to considering all levels.
 
The successful applicant will be client-focused and organised, with strong interpersonal and technical skills and an attention to detail. They should be able to work confidently in a fast-moving environment and able to handle a challenging workload often with tight timescales set by courts.
