A leading law firm is offering an exciting opportunity for a solicitor to join its commercial disputes team in Edinburgh.

Job Description

The team is known for its strong presence in the Scottish market and its commitment to client service and business development. This position provides a unique blend of Scottish and UK-wide work, with opportunities to collaborate across offices and sectors including energy, finance, technology, retail, and healthcare.

The role involves working on high-value and complex cases, including those with reputational risk, and offers exposure to both local and national matters. You will advise a range of clients—from major corporates to public sector bodies—on disputes covering areas such as contracts, fraud, misrepresentation, directors’ duties, and more.

Applicants should be qualified in Scots law, with at least two years of post-qualification experience in commercial litigation. Dual qualification in England and Wales is welcome but not essential. The ideal candidate will be confident managing cases independently, have excellent drafting skills, and be commercially minded with a proactive approach to dispute resolution and client engagement.

The firm offers a supportive and inclusive culture, flexible working arrangements, and a strong focus on wellbeing and professional development.
