You will join the firm’s Clinical Negligence team, handling a diverse range of pursuer clinical negligence matters. The role offers responsibility matched to your experience, with guidance from senior solicitors and partners, and clear scope for career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a caseload of clinical negligence claims from initial instructions to resolution
• Advise clients with clarity and empathy on medical and legal matters
• Conduct investigations, including liaising with medical experts and gathering evidence
• Prepare correspondence, pleadings, and other court documentation
• Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively for clients’ interests
• Ensure compliance with procedural rules, deadlines, and best practice standards

About You

• Qualified Solicitor in Scotland (NQ–Senior Associate level considered)
• Experience in clinical negligence or personal injury litigation
• Strong analytical, organisational, and negotiation skills
• Empathetic and confident in client-facing situations
• Able to manage your own workload while contributing positively to a team
