The team handles all aspects of high-value personal injury claims, including policy coverage and litigation. This opportunity offers exposure to complex, challenging cases and the chance to be part of a collaborative, supportive environment within a growing department.
The role involves working closely with colleagues and clients, managing a varied caseload for insurance companies and self-insured organisations. Key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with and managing a diverse caseload, including frequent appearances at the Sheriff Court.
Collaborating closely with all team members. While you will gain exposure to a broad range of work, your focus will primarily be representing various insurance companies and self-insured commercial clients.
Complying with reporting obligations and reserving requirements in line with different client service level agreements (SLAs).
Attending and representing clients at court hearings, pre-trial conferences, and Proofs, while ensuring adherence to court deadlines.
Conducting investigations, obtaining witness statements, and reviewing and analysing medical records and expert reports.
To be considered for this position, you will be at the NQ–3 years’ PQE level with experience in personal injury or other areas of civil litigation. Prior experience in catastrophic injury work is beneficial, though not essential.
