This role focuses on defending a broad range of claims, including employers’ liability, public liability, disease, and motor/fraud cases.
You will handle your own caseload of pre-litigation and litigated matters, while assisting on complex, high-value cases. Clients include insurers, businesses, and public sector bodies. The role covers all aspects of litigation, from investigations to liaising with witnesses, courts, and opponents.
You should have 1–3 years’ PQE, solid EL/PL defence experience, and familiarity with Scottish court procedures. Experience in motor, fraud, or disease claims is a plus. Strong communication, organisation, and a team-focused approach are essential.
