Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance lawyer looking to develop their career within a collaborative and ambitious practice, working on a broad mix of corporate lending and real estate finance transactions for an impressive portfolio of lenders and borrowers. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising on a wide range of banking and finance matters, including corporate lending and real estate finance transactions.
• Acting for a diverse client base, including banks, insurers, debt funds and major corporate borrowers.
• Working closely with colleagues across Edinburgh, Glasgow and London on domestic and cross-border matters.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering practical and commercially focused legal advice.
• Contributing to business development, marketing initiatives and wider client engagement activities.
• Collaborating with colleagues across practice areas and leveraging the firm’s international network on multi-jurisdictional transactions.

Applicants should be qualified solicitors with between 2 and 5 years’ PQE gained within a banking and finance practice. Candidates should possess a solid technical grounding in corporate banking law, strong organisational and communication skills, and experience managing a varied workload. Both Scots law and English law qualified candidates will be considered.
