A leading offshore law firm is seeking a talented and driven lawyer with 2 to 6 years’ post-qualification experience to join its litigation team in Guernsey, focusing on employment law.

Job Description

The successful candidate will advise a diverse client base on a wide range of contentious employment issues, including tribunal matters involving unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment, and victimisation. Experience in UK discrimination law will be particularly valued.

The role also involves providing high-level non-contentious employment advice, including guidance on data protection, directors’ duties, corporate transactions, and immigration matters. Candidates should be confident in managing complex advisory work and capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to business development through client engagement, thought leadership, and participation in marketing initiatives. Applicants should be qualified in a Commonwealth jurisdiction, possess a strong academic background, and demonstrate a proactive and collaborative approach to working within a multi-jurisdictional team.
