Associate/Managing Associate, Data/Digital Lawyer

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex data, digital and technology matters for a diverse client base across sectors including technology, retail, healthcare, sports and financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

Advising clients on a broad range of data protection, digital, technology and commercial matters, including GDPR compliance, international data transfers, cyber regulation and incident response
Drafting and negotiating complex commercial, technology, SaaS, cloud and outsourcing agreements for both suppliers and customers
Managing large-scale compliance and digital transformation projects while providing commercially focused and pragmatic advice
Building strong client relationships, supervising junior lawyers, and supporting business development and thought leadership initiatives

Applicants should have at least 5 years’ PQE with significant experience in data protection, technology, digital, commercial contracts or related areas. Candidates should possess strong technical expertise, commercial awareness, and experience managing complex matters and stakeholder relationships. Previous supervisory experience and an interest in developing junior team members would be advantageous.
