A rare opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Associate to join a well-regarded Scottish law firm as they continue to expand their Scottish Commercial Property team. This role offers the chance to build your expertise, work on high-quality transactions, and be part of a growing team.

The role involves working on a broad variety of transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and development projects alongside a supportive and experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate looking to develop their technical skills, gain exposure to high-value transactions, and contribute to a thriving practice or for a Senior Solicitor looking to make the next step. This position offers hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and development work
• Support partners and senior associates on client matters
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear and proactive communication
• Ensure all transactions comply with legal and regulatory requirements
• Take ownership of elements of files and contribute to team knowledge and efficiency

About You

• Commercial Property Associate, typically 3-7 years’ PQE
• Strong technical grounding in property law and a commercial mindset
• Comfortable managing files with increasing autonomy
• Motivated to develop your career within a growing, supportive Scottish practice
• Team player with strong client-facing and communication skills
