Job Description

There will be a particular focus on estate and succession planning for high net worth individuals, including those with business and farming interests across Scotland and beyond. You’ll also gain exposure to complex, high-value executries and family trust work.

Your day-to-day work will include handling the administration of estates, drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney and related documents, and supporting with the set-up, management and wind-up of trusts and charities. You’ll also be involved in advising on inheritance tax and wider capital tax planning.

This is a role where you can really get involved in the wider team too – whether that’s contributing to business development, sharing knowledge, or continuing to build your expertise through ongoing learning and development.

I am keen to speak to candidates who communicate well, take pride in their work and have a strong eye for detail. You’ll enjoy managing a varied workload, staying organised, and building strong relationships with clients, always aiming to deliver a high standard of advice and service. A proactive approach, willingness to keep learning, and an interest in getting involved in business development would all be a great fit for this team.

STEP qualification is advantageous but you shall be supported to attain this if you do not hold currently.

A competitive salary is offered.

Please contact Deborah Collier at QED Legal on the details provided for a confidential discussion.
