The role offers plenty of variety and you will be involved in a broad range of Private Client work, including the administration of executries, from straightforward estates through to more complex and high-value taxable estates. You will also assist with the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney and have the opportunity to gain experience in the administration of Trusts, including dealing with beneficiaries, corresponding with Trustees and assisting with the preparation of annual accounts.
You will have regular contact with clients by telephone, email and correspondence and work closely with experienced colleagues across the wider Private Client team.
For me, one of the real attractions of this opportunity is the flexibility on offer. There may be the opportunity for some home working and, importantly, there is a genuine understanding that life doesn't always fit neatly around traditional working hours. If you need some flexibility around your working pattern, this can absolutely be considered.
There are also excellent opportunities for career development and progression. So, if you have Private Client experience but are looking for somewhere you can continue to learn, broaden your knowledge and build a long-term career, I think this is definitely worth exploring.
The Scottish Borders offer a fantastic work/life balance, so this could equally appeal to someone already living locally or someone considering a move away from the city.
An attractive salary will be offered depending on experience.
