This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a nationally recognised team advising on some of the UK’s most significant clean energy projects.
This position is suited to a qualified solicitor (Scottish, English or dual-qualified) with experience in real estate matters relating to future energy developments. The successful candidate will support a broad mix of transactions including drafting and negotiating option agreements and leases across technologies such as wind, solar, battery storage, hydro, and EV infrastructure. You will conduct title due diligence, prepare title reports and Certificates of Title, and work closely with colleagues across corporate, banking, planning, and regulatory teams on project financings, acquisitions, and disposals. The role also includes opportunities to engage with clients directly and contribute to business development.
This role is ideal for a solicitor with at least 6 years’ PQE who is commercially minded, proactive, and passionate about the clean energy sector. You will have strong drafting and organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative approach. A genuine interest in the future energy landscape and the commercial property implications of its development is essential.
