We are now recruiting for traineeships commencing in June 2022 and are looking for four trainees based in our Edinburgh office.

Job Description


We are looking for self-motivated and driven candidates to join our team. If you are an ambitious person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and want to be challenged, then this will be the perfect opportunity. As a Ralph Hendrie trainee you will gain experience in two seats over the two years being Residential Conveyancing and Private client.

Skills Required/Expected:

  • LLB and Diploma
  • Strong academic record from school and university
  • Commitment
  • Team player
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Planning and organisational skills

Your key duties will be:

  • Working alongside our experienced team to support in carrying through transactions from start to finish
  • Working with our lawyers to help deliver excellent service and experience for our clients.
  • Handling enquiries efficiently
  • Dealing directly with other solicitors
  • Liaising with clients in a professional manner

Throughout your traineeship, we will offer you friendly, professional advice and support. We offer our trainees a salary rate as recommended by the Law Society and excellent working conditions. Whilst the core contractual hours offered are 9am – 5pm, flexible working is also an option.
