Following continued expansion, Neilsons Solicitors and Estate Agents are looking to recruit a full-time Trainee Private Client Solicitor who will join our growing Executry department at our City Centre office at 2A Picardy Place, Edinburgh.

Job Description

The role is an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Private Client Solicitor to join one of Edinburgh’s top firms and specialise solely in private client work.

Full training will be provided.

Main duties and responsibilities involve:-

  • Dealing with all aspects of private client work at the firm including executry administration.
  • Providing advice on Wills, Powers of Attorney and Executries.
  • Dealing with transactions in a prompt and efficient manner, providing an excellent service to clients, as part of a highly talented team.
  • Ability to recognise and develop business relationships.

Essential Skills and Attributes:-

  • Strong academic record.
  • Highly organised and process driven with good attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated and dedicated.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work to critical deadlines and effectively time manage workload.
  • IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office Suite – full training will be given on our systems.
