Working within a busy in-house legal team of one of the UK’s leading companies, the role of a trainee will see you working alongside stakeholders in various business areas. Within the legal team, we manage legal, regulatory and reputational risk and help deliver the right solutions for our internal customers. Our job is to help everyone do the right thing.

We are fully committed to supporting new entrants to the legal profession. This opportunity is the first step in your legal career and, with the perfect mix of support and challenge, we’ll help you build a career you’ll love, as you help us to shape our future in an increasingly fast paced and digitally focused banking industry. We’re looking for people who are critical thinkers, able to overcome a range of challenges and who are keen to progress a career within the banking industry.  You’ll have first class communication skills, both written and verbal, and the interpersonal skills to negotiate and challenge as appropriate, as you work to become a trusted advisor to our stakeholders.
