We are the recruitment people and we are looking for a Talent Manager to join our team of special recruiters based in Glasgow City Centre.

This newly created position will sit within either our Legal Practice or Accountancy Practice team and if successful you will take complete ownership of candidate generation and management by becoming immersed in your market of choice, providing a quality advice and insight to active and prospective candidates.

On a typical day, you would be:

  • Proactively sourcing via multiple channels (advertising, referrals, press & specialist media coverage, networking, events, competitor mapping and social media)
  • Generating candidate profiles, initiate contact and perform initial qualification in order to provide candidate lists to the Executive recruiters.
  • Attending briefing meetings with hiring managers to understand business and role requirements 
  • Providing regular market intelligence have responsibility for running market mapping exercises whilst building and developing talent pipelines
  • Write and deliver regular market updates through our marketing channels for both candidates and clients.

This is a different type of opportunity to what is typically available in the Scottish recruitment market. If interested, then you will have:

  • The confidence & ability to work with senior candidates and stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Strong relationship building and management skills
  • Knowledge of direct sourcing and research methodologies with a desire to become an expert in this area.
  • An understanding of the search market, and relevant industries to identify scarce skills.
