Solicitor, Land & Rural / Edinburgh / full or part time / up to 4 years' PQE / £competitve salary + excellent benefits package

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented lawyer with a background in land & rural work to join a leading law firm in Edinburgh.

The role would suit a Scots or dual qualified lawyer with a track record in land & rural work and up to four years’ post qualified experience.

The varied workload will involve high value country estates, landed estates, properties and land, sporting estates and country houses including:

- Sale and purchase of farms, estates and rural property

- Agricultural leases

- Equestrian Properties

- Sporting rights and leases

- Crofting

The successful candidate will focus on all areas of agricultural law and form an integral part of a thriving and highly respected department.

Candidates should have/be:

• up to fours years’ PQE;
• had exposure to a range of land & rural matters;
• ideally used to handling own files and working with limited supervision;
• good drafting skills;
• excellent communication skills;
• the ability to deal with complex and high value work;
• a professional approach and technically gifted with an excellent attention to detail.
