Due to impressive growth, our client is seeking a solicitor (2years'+) who has experience of handling industrial disease matters tp join their well-regarded Litigation team based in Glasgow.

Job Description

Our client is an international Legal500 law firm with offices across Scotland, Europe and worldwide and due to impressive growth, their well-regarded Litigation team seeks an additional solicitor who has experience of handling industrial disease matters. This opportunity will be based in Glasgow.
You will be working within one of the best and most experienced Litigation team's and for a firm who are committed to equality, diversity and an inclusive environment. Your role will include managing a varied and high quality caseload (defender) consisting of litigated industrial disease claims and there will also be an element of supervision to junior members of the team. 
To be considered for this solicitor opportunity you will ideally have gained experience of dealing with a wide range of disease related claims e.g. noise induced hearing loss, asbestos related injuries and claims involving the control of hazardous substance regulations. You will also thrive working in a fast-paced and target driven environment.    
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who is able to support and encourage junior members of the team. A proactive and team approach is also essential. The firm will offer excellent ongoing training and progression as well as a competitive salary and benefits package.
