Eden Scott's well-known client is seeking a talented Land & Property lawyer to join their Land and Property Team. It is imperative that you are both Scottish and English qualified with a minimum of two years' experience of English property law. Successful candidates will also have experience in rural property law and preferably with some experience of commercial property. The position is on a full time permanent basis in our client's Edinburgh office, with the occasional need to work out of their Glasgow or London office.
The Land and Property team provides advice on all aspects of rural and urban property transactions. As well as handling the purchase, sale and leasing of property, the team advises on all legal aspects of managing and financing property, on mineral exploitation and commercial development of land.
The work itself will involve providing first class advice to estate owners, farmers, the owners and occupiers of both urban and rural property, property developers and renewable energy developers on sales, purchases, leases and other arrangements relating to the ownership and management of land and the built environment. You will be able to handle a wide variety of diverse and challenging work with minimum supervision.
In providing advice to clients, you will work with other legal and tax experts to ensure that fully integrated, holistic advice is given to our clients.
