Senior Personal Injury Solicitor, Edinburgh/remote working

Job Description

We are currently working on this exciting opportunity to join this growing firms Purser Team.  This role is based in Edinburgh and would suit candidates with at least 5 years pqe.  You will run a caseload of litigated and/or complex files, as well as supervising (a small team of solicitors/trainees) together with playing a key role in developing strategy and shaping the future of the office.  Some of your duties will include:

• Handling own case load of litigated, pre-litigated & complex injury files;
• Assisting others in the department with complex matters and delivering training to staff and external client’s on Scottish Legal matters;
• Supervising trainees and other junior staff within the team;
• Complying with all Service Level Agreements;
• Communicating with clients, insurers, expert witnesses and solicitors;
• Managing all work through the Company’s Case Management System;
• Attending court to include Sheriff Courts & All Scotland Personal Injury Court.

To be considered for this role you should have previous experience of personal injury, RTA as well as experience of Sheriff Court, ASPIC & Court of Session litigation procedure.  Remote and hybrid working is on offer.  If this position interests you, please get in touch with Cameron or Frasia for an initial and confidential discussion.  (13195)
