Senior Paralegal - Asset Funds

Job Description

Iconic Resourcing Legal are proud to partner with our Tier 1 Global client for the role of Senior  Paralegal based in their highly regarded and busy Assets Funds team, based in Edinburgh city centre known for their high quality work and enviable reputation in the market.

Previous experience of supporting a number of solicitors at any given time across multiple disciplines would be advantageous.  

The required candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate competence in the following;

• Have a strong understanding and interest of the funds arena and associated work stream
• Previous experience with Real Estate finance deals would be advantageous
• Familiar with setting up fund structures on behalf of fund manager
• Experience in buying and selling assets
• Review and collate documents
• Undertake legal research
• Drafting deeds of appointment & removal as well as amendments
• Support the billing process including writing bill narratives
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail
• Provide support to a wide range of marketing initiatives
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Have a flexible attitude and a conscientious approach to your work
• Meet all deadlines and comply with all company procedures

The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, possibly with their LLB and looking to carve a career in the Asset Funds arena
