This global business is currently recruiting for a Senior Legal Counsel to join its in-house legal team in Ayrshire.

Job Description

The primary focus of this role is to provide advice on portfolio acquisitions and investments, while also supporting the Head of Legal on commercial, transactional, and governance matters as required.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' PQE, with strong experience in transactional corporate work. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a senior role within a close-knit, commercially focused team. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Drafting and negotiating NDAs, data processing agreements, sale and purchase agreements, and ancillary documents related to portfolio acquisitions.
Advising the business on contract compliance and termination of existing contracts.
Providing general support, advice, and guidance on ad-hoc legal, governance, and regulatory matters.
