Our client is currently looking to recruit a Residential Property Specialist to be based in the Edinburgh office.

Job Description

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Residential Property Specialist to be based in the Edinburgh office. You will provide legal advice to clients and in particular to negotiate contracts and advise on title in connection with the purchase and sale of residential property.

Some of your key tasks will be

  • Advising clients on matters relating to the purchase, sale and transfer of residential property.
  • Negotiating missives on behalf of clients.
  • Examining and reporting on title.
  • Providing legal back-up to legal executives and members of the advisory team. Assisting partners and associates when required.
  • Being proactive in the financial control of your caseload, including accurate time recording and prompt feeing.
  • Contributing constructively to the success of the division.
  • Supporting the Firm’s marketing initiatives and identifying and maximising opportunities to sell the services of the Firm.
  • Delivering technical training as required within division.
  • Manage your own technical learning, developing an area of specialist knowledge and become recognised, internally and externally as an expert in your chosen field.
