Job Description

The Scottish Borders is a fantastic area, there are plenty of things to do right across the region from paddle boarding on the local lochs, to mountain biking and of course enjoying the hospitality in an abundance of local eateries, pubs and boutique cafes.

It's easy to drive into Edinburgh or you can take the train and be in the centre of Edinburgh within an hour.

The role on offer shall see you manage your own busy caseload of residential conveyancing transactions including sales, purchase and remortgage from inception to completion. You must have the ability to communicate effectively and build good relationships with your clients. You shall also be highly organised and be able to prioritise your work. You may also manage some private client work – preparing wills and assisting with estate planning.

Ideally you shall have a minimum of 2 years’ previous relevant experience. Solicitors who are newly qualified are invited to apply but will need to demonstrate a residential property focused traineeship.

A competitive salary is offered.

This role shall be office based.
