The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own caseload and be willing to help develop an already expanding department. They will report to partner Scott Rasmusen. The work will include sale and purchase conveyancing, discharges and transfers of title.
Gibson Kerr is a long established, central Edinburgh legal practice with a good client base, specialising in family law, private client and property work. We are a small team of specialists in our individual areas and our emphasis is on providing a quality, personal service to our clients.
The person will have a good working knowledge of the relevant law and experience in a client facing role and have good communication and computer skills. Candidates who have a relevant paralegal qualification are of particular interest. They will be enthusiastic, bright and cheerful – someone with
good rapport with clients and with staff of this and other firms. They will be hardworking, confident and prepared to take responsibility for their actions. An ability to deliver sound advice to clients in a confident and professional manner is essential. A willingness to promote the services of the business when suitable opportunities arise is important.
