We have been instructed on an excellent opportunity for a junior level employment lawyer to join this international firm. The role will be based remotely, with occasional travel to its regional office.
This global team provide standalone advisory and corporate transactional support, as well as providing a more bespoke service to particular clients.
The ideal candidate will have 2 – 5PQE in this area of the law. Strong organisational and excellent interpersonal skills are essential. To be considered for this role, candidates should have evident transactional experience and outstanding academic credentials.
This role will be focused on working from home and you can be based in any part of Scotland. All relevant support will be provided to allow for a successful working arrangement.
The role will include:
Providing strategic guidance to clients
Advising on restructuring programmes, employment contracts, HR policies, diversity initiatives in addition to general employee relations and employment related cases
Managing employment tribunal claims
Attending client meetings
Managing client expectations and project delivery appropriately
Business development – development of personal plan; assistance with and implementation of business development campaign
Drafting, reviewing and amending documentation
Supervision of junior team members
