You will work very closely with senior leaders in the team and support them on a wide range of challenging and interesting investigations, assisting with preparing cases for court prosecutions or fatal accidents.
Your primary responsibilities shall include:
Attend HSE and Police interviews as required and assist in incident investigations.
Provide advice to clients on how to meet their legal obligations under Health & Safety law.
Advocacy in the Sheriff Court and supporting the In-house Criminal Solicitor Advocate and Counsel in more complex hearings.
Actively participate in business development activity
Ideally you shall be between 1 and 4 years qualified and will have had previous experience of working on health and safety cases. You shall be highly organised and have the ability to successfully manage your work and prioritise effectively and be familiar and competent with court appearances.
