This is a superb opportunity for a highly motivated solicitor (newly qualified or up to 2 years of post-qualified experience) to join an esteemed Legal500 firm's Glasgow Real Estate team, specialising in Electricity.
Responsibilities:
Providing legal advice and support on a wide range of real estate matters with a specific focus on Electricity projects.
Conducting due diligence and title investigations on properties involved in electricity infrastructure development.
Drafting and negotiating various contracts and agreements, including leases, licenses, and easements.
Assisting in the acquisition, disposal, and development of real estate assets within the electricity sector.
Conducting research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.
Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, such as clients, government authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
Newly qualified solicitor or up to 2 years of post-qualified experience in real estate or residential property law.
Strong desire to pursue a career in real estate law, particularly within the Electricity sector.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Commercial awareness and the ability to provide practical solutions.
