This reputable law firm is currently recruiting a Construction Disputes Lawyer to join its busy Property & Infrastructure Disputes Team in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Job Description

The role is within the firm’s Commercial Disputes and Regulation division, focusing on complex dispute resolution across the UK construction and engineering sectors, particularly in infrastructure, energy, and civil engineering projects.

The position is open to candidates with NQ-4 PQE level, offering experience in legal work involving adjudication, mediation, arbitration, expert determination, and court proceedings, primarily in the Court of Session. The firm’s clients span various sectors including power, utilities, rail, renewables, and more. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality legal advice on complex, high-value issues, representing clients in formal dispute resolution processes across the UK, and assisting in documenting dispute resolutions and agreements.

While experience in contentious construction is beneficial, candidates with relevant experience and transferable skills are also encouraged to apply.
