A leading legal team is seeking a Scots law qualified Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join its Banking Knowledge Team in Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Job Description

The role involves providing expertise on Scots law across key banking practice areas, including corporate and leveraged finance, real estate finance, infrastructure, project and asset finance, fintech, and restructuring.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in knowledge-sharing initiatives, delivering training, and supporting the team on Scots law developments. A primary focus will be assisting with know-how projects relating to the Moveable Transactions (Scotland) Act 2023.

The role is well-suited to individuals who are highly organised, enjoy legal research, and have an interest in developing practical resources to support colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and training on Scots law to the wider team.
  • Support the development of legal know-how projects and resources.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and drive improvements.
