This leading law firm is currently recruiting a senior lawyer to join its Litigation practice area on a full-time basis.

Job Description

This role can be based from either the firms Glasgow or Edinburgh office.

The purpose of the role is to provide professional support to teams within the Litigation department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support and training to lawyers on the use of styles/standard litigation documents.
  • Assisting with the provision of ad hoc briefings to litigation and, where required, wider practice areas, in an appropriate format on matters of interest relating to litigation.
  • Monitoring legislative changes, market developments and case law in respect of material issues associated with litigation practice and procedure.
  • Assisting with technical legal and procedural queries from the litigation teams, carrying out case specific research, collating, distilling and publishing knowhow gathered by the PDL team.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 5 years’ PQE with strong drafting skills and previous project management experience.
