Solicitor, 2yrs+ PQE

Private Client, Glasgow


Eden Scott are currently recruiting for their client, an experienced Solicitor to join their busy Private Client department.  The Private Client team has an enviable reputation and wishes to recruit a talented, enthusiastic and motivated Solicitor who can manage their own caseload.


The Role

The successful candidate can expect to be involved in working on:-


Drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney;
Executry administration;
Trust creation and administration;
Tax planning;
Guardianship applications; and
General Private Client business.


Key Responsibilities

The type of work is broad ranging, stimulating and often innovative.  The successful candidate will also be involved in the preparation and delivery of research and in networking activities generally.  Commercial awareness is essential.


Experience Required

Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years PQE, dealing with all aspects of Private Client work including Wills, Probate, Trusts, Charities, Powers of Attorney and general client facing instructions. The ideal candidate would be able to work with the minimum supervision.


Essential Skills and Qualifications

In addition to being able to demonstrate relevant legal expertise, the successful candidate will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Applicants must be able to juggle a busy and varied workload, have an enthusiastic approach to work and enjoy working in a team environment.
