An international and globally-integrated firm with offices in London, Jersey, Guernsey, and Hong Kong, to name just a few, is seeking to hire an experienced Private Client Associate to join their team in Jersey.

Job Description

Our client is a  Legal 500 ranked international offshore law firm and works with the world’s top banks, international corporations, and asset managers.

As a part of the International Trust and Private Client team, you will provide non-contentious advise, including Private Wealth advisory and structuring, you will also work closely with colleagues in corporate and dispute resolution teams.

In this role, you will work closely with Senior Associate and a  Partner.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • providing expert legal advice to your clients
  • analysing points of law
  • preparing relevant documentation or advice
  • reviewing various documentation provided by third parties
  • managing own workload and providing assistance to junior fee earners 
  • participating in business development meetings and activities

You will:

  1. have excellent communication and technical skills
  2. be proactive, collaborative and flexible
  3. be able to work under pressure
  4. hold a Solicitor or Barrister qualification with a minimum of two years' PQE
  5.  ideally be STEP qualified
