Are you a pensions or employment law solicitor looking to make a move in the central belt in the near future?
QED Legal's leading client, has a requirement for a solicitor with a minimum of two years prior experience within a pensions or employment setting with a demonstrable desire to work for both the public and private sectors.
You will take on an varied caseload of pension matters including advising both trustees and employers of private sector pension schemes as well as public sector funds on a wide range of funding and regulatory matters.
With pensions incredibly buoyant and a major growth area for my top tier, leading Scottish client, candidates from either the Glasgow or Edinburgh markets will be considered as will solicitors from the other side of the border looking to make the relocate or return to either of these areas.
The pensions team prides itself on having a number of dual qualified solicitors and this role would be no different. Those prepared to work towards this dual qualification would be of particular interest.
With my client aware that pensions specialists are few and far between in the Scottish market currently, they are prepared to give serious consideration to employment solicitors keen to make a move into this increasingly buoyant area of law.
With pensions roles rare, mainly due to the fact that people have a tendency to remain in these roles long term, I appreciate that you may not have seriously considered leaving your current firm to date. That being said, my client would like the opportunity to explain why they feel a role with them would be a real step up for any ambitious solicitor.
For additional details on this role please do not hesitate to contact Neil Campbell at QED Legal via the details provided.
I look forward to hearing from you.
