QED Legal are delighted to have been instructed to assist our client, an award winning private practice with their search to find a Partner for this newly created role within their dedicated leading Property Services Team.

Job Description

This firm has a huge presence across Scotland and as big a reputation amongst its clients,acting for some of the largest financial institutions and banks in the country. 

The team has seen considerable success and growth and as such they are looking for a talented and ambitious individual to oversee the smooth running of the team, someone who has the ability and drive to steer the further development and progression of the division. 

You will have extensive experience of conveyancing matters including remortgages and the purchase and sale of residential and commercial properties. You must have previous experience of successfully managing, motivating and mentoring a large team of talented individuals with a broad range of skills and level of experience.  

You will also be commercially astute and have the ability to identify potential business opportunities, galvanise on these and successfully tender, pitch and win new business. In addition you will ensure you have a thorough understanding of existing  SLA's ensuring these are delivered to the highest standard, resolving any issues quickly.

Furthermore you will assume responsibility for quality and risk management, undertaking regular audits, making sure the firm and its clients are protected at all times and further ensuring teams are fully up to speed with current regulatory and reporting requirements. 

The successful candidate must hold a full, clean driving licence and be willing to travel within Scotland.
